How do I recover administrator password ?

Hi I have 2 accounts one administrator account (I have forgot password) and a standard user account. I have forgot the admin password so I can't download any programs from internet or make any system changes. How do I recover the administration password? Below are the steps I have already taken. 1. sticky keys but didn't realise I needed an installation CD and it hasn't worked. 2. Tried downloading program from CNET but was prompted for User Account Control password.  3. Command prompt eg net user (Tried this when logged in as standard user should i try it in safe mode and cmd?

Administrator account has no password - how do I fix this?

I'm helping fix a Windows XP Pro computer for a friend.  He got divorced and deleted his ex wife's and her son's user accounts.  However as I understand it, there is a problem.  When you go into Control Panel > Users there are now 2 users... Administrator and Greg (also an administrator)... neither has a password associated with it.   When the computer is rebooted both icons appear to choose user... no password is required to continue. I think something is wrong.  Shouldn't the Administrator User account have a password even if all the other users do not??   Isn't that a security feature??   I'm guessing that someone was messing with the accounts and screwed this up, but I'm not sure

"Enter Network Password" pop-up won't stop appearing, how do you stop this?? Outlook 2007 checking aol account.

OK, I know that this question has been asked before here and other places but I have tried many things and still cannot get it to stop. I am using Outlook 2007 to access my aol email account. Up until recently it has been working fine with none or very few problems. All of a sudden this week, the "Enter Network Password" window keeps chronically popping up with all the fields populated already, but you have to click ok to make it go away. This would happen once in a blue moon in the past, maybe once every 3 weeks to a month and then not happen again for a while. But as of this week, it is happening about once every 5 minutes to an hour all day every day. (Happened twice since I started typing this so far.) To say that this is incredi
