How do I move 'Libraries' from C to D?
location:
7forums.com - date:
June 14, 2012
My hard drive is partitioned with my C: having 679 GB and my D: having 698 GB. I'd like for files (word, mp3, jpg etc.) to be in D: and to keep program files in C:. So how do I move the 'Libraries' directory from C: to D:? Can it be remapped or do I need to copy/paste everything over and make a new Library in D?

Windows 7 automatically saved every download loading up space. How do I stop this from happening?
location:
microsoft.com - date:
September 25, 2012
When I click on the Microsoft Icon in the lower left corner of the screen it opens up a white box of programs on the left border. Adjacent to that is a black box that has "Downloads" listed as an entry.
When I open tis file i find that it contains everey page/document that I have downloaded in the 9 months that I have had this PC with Windows 7 Home software.
How do I stop this from happening. I am not doing anything to indicate that I want to save these documents. It does it automatically. Eating up my storage space and slowing pc down as well as loading up my backup file.

Unnamed 4 MB

Hey guys, i recently clean-installed my desktop to Win8, but before doing so i made a backup of important files using Win7, which was installed previously. I went though the steps to back it up in 7 on my secondary drive, D, then rebooted, booted from
the 8 disk, and custom installed to wipe the C drive clean. Now when i boot up the backup utility built into 8 it doesnt show my backup anywhere. i've configured the Windows 7 Backup utility to make a backup to that drive, but it still doesnt show the file.
Anyone know how i can do this? i'd hate to have to reinstall 7 on this computer to get the files back. It would be quite a while before i could reinstall 8 again due to some specific circumstances i'm in. (Dad's got the disk, i'm in col

I have a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop. When I opted for the Yahoo task bar, I was pushed into Yahoo 8. I wasn't happy, so I switched back to Yahoo 7. Since then both my mouse pad and the hand mouse have been on simultaneously. When I go to the Control Panel
and click on 'Mouse", I receive the message that it can't open the Synaptic Pointer Device. What is that? How do I get to it? I just want to turn off the mouse pad and stop my curser from jumping around the screen. Does anybody know about this and can help?
