location:
7forums.com - date:

My laptop is SONY VAIO VPCEE4FX comes with Windows 7 Home Premium x64 OEM installed.
My auntie from U.S gave this to me on my graduation last year.. i never reformat this since i got this laptop. Now, i want to re-install this OS on my laptop but the problem is i dont have the Operating System Disk that is installed on my laptop. I called my auntie on phone and she said she doesnt have the OEM Disk. I used "KeyFinder" to know the CD-KEY of this Operating System. What can i do to re-install my operating system? Can i download Windows 7 Home Premium x64 OEM legally from certain sites?
Please help! Thanks!

location:

Having searched it becomes clear that there is a major problem in setting up email in windows 8. My problem is similar in that I am not offered any way of setting up my email account. Most help refers to going into >Settings>Accounts but there is no option
available on my installation.
Is there any way of setting up my email account using the facilities of Win8 or do I need another third party application for email?
Regards

How can I find out my license duration
location:
8forums.com - date:

Hello everybody,
So here's the situation:
I upgraded my let's say "legal" windows 7 to a legit windows 8.
I got the key from my school, which is registered with that dreamspark program. And I have also heard that the license from there lasts only through your study period.
Is there any way to check this information?

Will a RAM Upgrade Speed Up My PC?
location:
7forums.com - date:
October 10, 2009
Currently I have a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, and 1GB of ram. Crucial say the max my netbook can have is 2GB, will this speed up my PC lots, or would I need a different processor.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate(overkill), which runs surprisingly fast with aero and all effects on, but it would be nice to play a few games that currently lag.
Thanks.

How can I back up windows file extension associations ?
location:

It seems to me that windows 8 is fragile as to file extensions and changing default programs. Therefore, I want to save all file associations in the registry and be able to undo any mistakes I could make. Any ideas?
