SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT HANDLED_(Ndu.sys)
location:

I used Macrium Reflect to restore my Win 8 Pro RP partition and everything was fine for a while. Now however I get the SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT HANDLED_(Ndu.sys) message and when the system reboots check disk checks all drives.
Check disk found errors on the Win 8 partition and repaired them, but after check disk completed I tried again to boot into Win 8 but the result was the same. I tried repairing with the installation dvd, and was told startup errors were repaired, but the problem remains.
If anyone can tell me how to resolve this I would be grateful.
Thanks and regards,
Roy

Partition Windows 7 op sys or not ?? Everybody has a different opinion What is correct

You need to determine why you are creating separate partitions? You need to ensure that you are backing up to a separate partition on a separate internal drive. Put archived data files onto the slowest drive away from current data files. It cuts down time
spent on cleaning up and defragmenting. Put on your pagefile in it's own partition as the first partition on a faster slave drive.
With so many drives and so many drive bays do you really need an external drive?

Pagefile.sys

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with 8GB of RAM. Is it necessary to set a specific number for the pagefile.sys? Right now I have it set to "No paging file".
Please advise.
Thanks all.

Keep getting this BSOD: ntfs.sys Page_Fault_In_Non_Paged_Area 0x00000050.

You also appear to have a FarStone program installed that has drivers that pre-date Windows 7 by several years.
What program is that and has it always been installed?

SPTD.sys - endless boot cycle (XP Pro SP3)
location:
winsecrets.com - date:
October 14, 2008
I foolishly agreed to try out a program a friend couldn't get to work. I now suspect malware. The end result is that I can't get XP to boot (in ANY configuration). The culprit seems to be a file called SPTD.sys. I've had a look on the web and my symptoms seem to be typical. In safe mode, drivers load up to this one, then a prompt appears to load it. Whichever way I choose, the reboot cycle begins.
What I've done so far is to rename to SPTD.sys.old and to set every one of its Start keys in the registry to (DWord) 4. No current control set shows (since I'm now running off a PE boot CD) but I've disabled in control sets 1 through 3. Even then, the reboot starts at the same point, without (apparently) trying to load the offender. I also can't

Missing or Corrupt system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys error

I have an XP-SP3 OS (Originally XP Media Center) and have experienced the error mentioned in the Subject; After trouble shooting a virus issue and running a series of tools recommended by Kaspersky (including ComboFIx, TDSKILLER, AVZ) I was directed to
uninstall the 2009 version of Kaspersky and then reisntall the 2011 version. I was given an uninstall tool to run in Safe mode and told to run this twice.
I did this on the second run I received a Windows Scrip Error - Microsoft VBScript runtime Error.
The Kaspersky Tech also directed me to delete the INFCACHE.1 inside C:\Windows\inf\
Upon restart I received the error mentioned in this thread:

Frequent Blue Screen errors saying ntfs.sys Bugcheck code 0x24 (Windows 7 64-bit)
location:
microsoft.com - date:
April 15, 2011
I have been getting increasingly frequent BSODs (blue screens of death). The last four have been caused by ntfs.sys, and previously I've had some caused by ntoskrnl.exe. I keep my computer updated using Windows update, and I've run chkdsk and other disk-
and memory-scanning tools with no errors.
Also, yesterday I replaced all of my RAM modules with new upgraded modules from Kingston. But, unfortunately, I got a crash again last night at about 3am (left my computer on overnight).
I would love to upload my dump files to have someone take a look. I'm sure there are some clues in there, but I'm not sure how to read them. Thank you so much for your help!
