Can't Unpin folder from Windows Explorer TaskBar Jumpli
location:

So, I've been using Windows 7 RC for about two weeks now and I love it. The only problem I've had so far is as follows.
I have all my personal data on a separate partition from my OS and so I had a shortcut to the Documents folder on this partition on my desktop. When I first got Windows 7, I clicked on this shortcut and pinned a folder to my taskbar. Later, I was cleaning up my desktop and deleted this shortcut, which is unnecessary because of the library feature. Now, I am unable to unpin the link from the windows explorer jumplist on the taskbar. I can click on the unpin icon, or right click and choose 'unpin' but it refuses to go away. Oddly, the path for this item is listed as
c:\Users\[my username]\Desktop\Desktop - Sh

This POP folder generated by Outlook.com Mail ??
location:
8forums.com - date:

I have a Windows 8 Home version. The Metro thing has been killin' me after 7 years of strictly XP. But I'm gettin' there.
When I select Mail from the Metro Start screen I now have a POP folder that was generated by the program. I did some reading into it and it doesn't seem like such a bad thing except that the mail that goes into it does it inconsistently. First, mail doesn't appear in it all that often. When it does it's mail that has gone to the Inbox correctly most of the time. Then rarely it gets to the POP folder.
I'd like to understand the nature of this folder but I can't see why it only get's a piece here and there, and as I said, it's often mail that works and goes where it should at other times?
Can anyone expand

Music Folder Won't Display By Album Or Artist
location:
7forums.com - date:
December 4, 2011
In My Music folder when I try to arrange my music by the artist or by the album, all of the songs are grouped into an "Unspecified" tile by Windows. When I arrange them by folder, every song is in the proper folder for the artist and album, every song has the correct tag info entered for it.
Windows simply refuses to organize my songs by their album or artist. I've tried everything, re-edited all the tags, deleted the music from the computer and then transferred it over again. I'm at a loss and now it's just really frustrating me.

Picture Library "Folder is empty" when viewing other than by Folder
location:
microsoft.com - date:
August 8, 2010
I am using a new computer with Windows 7 home premium. I have transferred my old pictures into the "Pictures" folder. Originally I could view these pictures by Month/Day/Rating/Tag. Now I can only see the pictures by folders as when I select to see the
pictures by the other category the message says that the Folder is empty when I know that it isn't.
I have reset the Default Libraries by right clicking "Libraries" from windows explorer and selecting "Restore Default Libraries". But this has not resolved the problem.
Any help gratefully received.

Folder tags?
location:

Long ago I asked on a Vista forum if there was a way to "tag" folders.
Another way to look at this would be similar to Gmail's labels. Whereas a file can only belong to one folder at a time, it can belong to multiple labels.
This would be very useful to me, and I was told it was supposed to be included in Vista but they ran out of time and would include it in 7 instead. Looking through the Beta though, I don't see it anywhere.
