fax now does nothing but give error c:\windows\system32\WFS.exe is not a valid Win32 application
location:

Until two days ago, I could create an Open Office document, select I want to PRINT it, select FAX, and the fax screen would open so I could continue.
Now, when I go through the PRINT and FAX steps, I get this message: This fax cannot be sent at this time. Please launch the Compose Form from Windows Fax & Scan and click on New Fax to attach this document to sent it out as a fax.
I could not get the Fax to open by any means, nor to see old faxes I'd saved nor my fax outgoing history.
Open Office also started acting weird, not allowing me to create or print some things. For example, I would scan in a letter off the all-in-one printer (just like always) into the Open Office blank document I'd opened, the image wou

Running XP, downloaded windows 7, tried burning an ISO, when I run the setup file I get an error sayings its not a valid Win32 application?
location:
microsoft.com - date:
October 26, 2009
As I stated I used the forum answer on how to do this install and got the DVD ISO file burned. When I insert the disc my PowerISO program pops up and I open the Win7iso file. Theres a few folders and I clicked the Setup.exe file and I get that error
message. Here is what is says specifically:
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMIN~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\$PowerISO$\setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application
I'm not sure what to do, powerISO asks me to unload this to a default folder or to run from the disc, in both situations I get the same error message. This is such a pain in the ____ I just want to see if I can get a refund, but I downloaded so I dont know
if I can. This is what I get for upgrading...
Any answeres are r

Error: "iTunes64Setup.exe is not a Win32 application"
location:
7forums.com - date:
May 1, 2010
No shit.
I get this error after downloading the current version of iTunes64bit onto my brand new out of the box Toshiba Satellite A505 with Windows 7 64 bit and trying to run it.
I tried the 32 bit version, and of course the error I get is "This iTunes installer is intended for 32 bit versions of windows..."
After I got the error the first time on the 64bit download, I deleted it and downloaded it again to make sure it wasn't corrupted. I ran it as administrator and as a regular user and still got the same error.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
DJS

windows 10 keeps restarting my computer for updates but does nothing
location:
8forums.com - date:
March 20, 2016
I keep getting the Update massage saying my computer needs to be restarted for windows 10 update.
Thing is every time it restarts nothing is downloaded and it just does it all over again like 15 minutes later.
The Update it says its going to install is this
Upgrade to Windows 10 Home, version 1511, 10586
That's all it says and i am all ready in Windows 10, this has also caused the "schedule time for restart" to be grayed out. My PC has restarted like 5 times in the past 5 hours. What the heck is going on? I.E. it restarts at 9am then does it again at like 10am then 11am always putting the new time in the schedule for a restart.
PLEASE help me stop this endless pain in the arse cycle. I use my PC at home to do my JOB

Windows 8 Pro 64-bit DSP OEI DVD-Won't Activate & Win+X Does Nothing
location:
microsoft.com - date:
March 17, 2013
Bought a copy of Windows 8 Pro 64-bit OEM from BT Shop in the UK. This is the first time I've tried to install it on any machine (Asus P8Z77V-Pro, i7-3770K).
Packaging states this to be "Win Pro 8 64Bit Intl 1pk DSP OEI DVD"
When entering the product key it won't accept it. It should - it's a genuine & unused copy.
So, I called MS support.
They asked me to hit Windows Key + X, then type slui.exe 4
That's the problem. Windows Key+X does nothing.
So, thinking it may be a keyboard fault, I checked it's identifying the keyboard correctly (it is) and even tried two other known working (UK layout) keyboards (a new Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 via USB & an old generic PS2).
Before reaching the screen which asks for the product
