Exception in OE- VxD
location:
winsecrets.com - date:
October 31, 2002
For past few days, after I've been on the web and searching, I will get message an Exception in OE,
in VxD. I can continue to surf for a few moments, then I'm frozen. (using AOL 4).
(At bottom of screen it says: Connecting to site 127.0.0.1)
When I reinstall the AOL adapter everything is okay for that session.
Does this mean my video driver is going? I seem to remember this happened a while ago, but can't remember how I overcame the problem. I did not, at that time, download/install a new driver.
Thank you for any hints.

Fatal Exception Error - VXD APIX
location:
winsecrets.com - date:
March 29, 2002
Sorry to post so often lately...I really do appreciate all the help.
I have been getting Windows Protection Errors lately when I shut down. Not so awful bad (although I would like to isolate the cause.) Now, I'm getting the dreaded "blue screen"! The exact #'s are: 0028: C192A6AD in VXD APIX (01) + 0000269D. Has anyone heard of this one? It has occurred since I installed a new Soundblaster Audigy audio system, but I'm not sure if that's the culprit...my machine has been sluggish & weird of late. Thanks.
