Kernel-Power Event ID 41 BSOD playing game
location:

Recently my laptop has crashed a couple of times while gaming. It first crashed around three weeks back when playing Dota 2 and today when playing Team Fortress 2. I checked my event viewer and the critical error from both occasions was Kernel Power Event ID 41. On the first crash, the screen simply went black and the laptop turned off. On the second crash, the system shut itself down and a blue screen appeared. Also the second crash was accompanied with a BugCheck error Event Id 1001 telling me a dump was saved. I've attached the dump file so hopefully it can be accessed easily on the forum. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Event ID 41 Task 63 error

Since installing Win7, home premium, 64bit, on a computer (6 days ago) I have been getting this error daily. Computer initially used with Win XP with no issues--this problem occured after upgrading memory from 4 GB to 8 GB and installing Win7 clean install.
Memory passed memory test so I don't think the memory addition is the problem.
Early instances involved BSOD while running but after running system file checker which found and corrected errors I have not seen the BSOD. Now the problem shows up on a cold start after what appeared to be a normal shut down.

Explorer.exe Event ID:1000
location:
8forums.com - date:
December 29, 2013
I've installed a fresh copy of Windows 8/Windows 8.1 on three systems and have resolved all the usual Event Log Errors that have been identified on this Forum. However, I have a new problem on the third system that I need help identifying a solution. The system is a Q9550 processor running on a GA-EP45-UD3P MB with 8GB of Mushkin C5 Ram and an OCZ SSD for a boot drive. For some reason the system has started to boot up OK and then after ~10 seconds the screen goes Blue and then the Windows 8.1 screen rebuilds and all is well. I assume that the blue screen event is related to the Explorer.exe error?! Other than the event log entry and the initial blue screen the system works OK. I have included screen prints of the Event Log.
