Event ID 10016 -- DCOM permissions error
location:
7forums.com - date:
October 12, 2009
I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to correct a persistent Event ID 10016 error that keeps showing up in Event Viewer.
I've actually found a couple of guides on how to fix this...change the launch permissions for the app that's causing the problem (IPbusEnum) but when I try to change the launch permissions using dcomcnfg none of the options on the properties/securities tab are available (grayed out).
My user has administrator permissions, I've tried launching dcomcnfg.exe by right click/click on "run as administrator" but no go.
Here's the text of the error message:
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

Event ID 1074 - Random and unsolicited system shutdown.
location:
microsoft.com - date:
April 9, 2010
I'm currently working between several help forums and my motherboard manufacturer's technical support to solve an abhorrent behavior of my Windows 7 x64 desktop. The issue begins with a clean shutdown, completely at random, without my consent and definitely
against my will. Try as I might this process cannot be stopped. Clicking the "Cancel Shutdown" button that appears as it tries taking out the slower-closing processes only prolongs the inevitable in this process. Once this is complete, on occassion the system
will attempt to restart on its own moments after the shutdown, and will fail. Sometimes it will skip that, and simply go to the next phase of this concerning issue, which is an unresponsive state. The system will not r

Kernel-PnP Event ID 219 Driver failed to load problem.
location:
7forums.com - date:
April 13, 2013
I am attaching a screen shot of the Kernel-PnP Event 219 that suggests that a device driver is failing to load at start up. I have been receiving this message for about three weeks and can't relate it to any particular event on my computer. I have trawled the net and had a look at Device Manager but I can't ascertain which driver is not loading and presumably needs to be updated.
I downloaded some software called "Driver Manager" and that has identified 28 out of date drivers. To correct the problem I have to pay a subscription that I can not really afford. Can someone help me identify which driver is causing the problem please?

Event ID: 7024 with error message: "The Windows Firewall service terminated with service-specific error The data is invalid"
location:

Original Title: Cannot Start Windows Firewall Service: Error Code 13
Hello.
So anyway, Action Center started randomly telling me that Windows Firewall is turned off. When I try to turn it on or restore to default settings, it tells me it is unable to do so.
I went to Services, and Windows Firewall is set to Automatic, but it is not started. I try to start it and it tells me it is unable to do that as well. The error code is 13.
I am an Administrator.
MalwareBytes did find and remove a virus with the name of "Disable.SecurityCenter" but after removing that I am still unable to start the Service.
Can anyone help with this problem?
Edit: The log ID is 7024 and the description is:

In the past 48 hours I have waded through dozens of posts on different forums trying to find solutions to this fundamental problem, one that undermines the whole basis of upgrading from Vista to Windows 7.
I was running Vista Business and decided to upgrade to Win7 Professional, using Windows Upgrade.
All good, until I left my pc on Friday night, came down Saturday morning, and found BSOD, stuck on Memory Dump at 40. Result: no memory dump. When I next left the pc later that day - BSOD. Same on Sunday morning. So I checked in Event Viewer.
Everytime the PC tries to wake from sleep I get BSOD.
Here's the message in Event Viewer:

Recurring Lock up. Kernel-Power Event ID 41(63)
location:
7forums.com - date:
January 3, 2012
Hello, I have been trying to diagnose this computer for over 3-4 months now and I have come to a stand still.
Here is my issue:
When playing the only game I ever play "World of Warcraft" the game locks up on me and completely freezes. The only way to get out of it is to Hard Boot my PC. I work a lot so I do not play until I get home from work. This "Lockup" only occurs ONCE. Upon restarting the computer from a hard boot, the problem no longer persists. At the end of the night, I shut down the PC and the whole process starts over again. This "Lockup" sometimes occurs 10 minutes into game play all the way up to 2 hours into game play. It is extremely frustrating as I raid and it is not taken lightly to Discon
