Updating Drivers for Ipod Classic 160gb & Iphone 4 Error Installing Updates

Hi All,
I've spent $39 dollars to Apple to try and fix the issue of my Iphone 4 and Ipod Classic 160gb by adding a device, uninstalling and reinstalling and reparing hardware devices and still get error. I want to use iTunes as i'm a radio dj and want to upload
my latest podcasts. I was told by apple that my Windows 8 was a Microsoft problem with this issue. I tried to ring Microsoft at 9:30am yesterday morning only to say that they are receiving high volume calls and would ring me back during the day. I couldn't
wait all day and been working on my iTunes trying to get that software to work, also devices manager for Apple products. Also I get continuously a blank screen when loading up windows 8 and Microsoft troubleshoote

Windows 8 hangs up on boot after installing updates

About couple hours ago I decided to install updates on my Windows 8 desktop. I had about 12 or so. Can't remember which ones now. My update settings are to notify me of the updates but not to install them. So I manually clicked, yes, install. Then after a little while the updates window showed up in red telling me that some updates did not install. So I decided to reboot the desktop to clear it up... Bad idea!
The desktop now hangs up on this very screen:
(New windows logo and a spinning thing)
That spinning thing keeps spinning, no matter how long I let it run like this. The HDD light first blinks but then about half a minute in, it stops doing so. I believe that the fan inside spins audibly louder too.

Having issues with getting a few updates to install on my new pc. Fresh install of Windows 7. the updates in question are:
KB2604115
KB2656373
KB2686831
KB2507618
KB2660649
KB2698365
KB2484033
KB2522422
I have tried numerous times to install these updates, sometimes resulting in a BSOD. A few of the updates have downloaded just fine but failed to install. The error code i get when trying to do the updates is 800B0100. Thanks in advance for the help!

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. It appears every time a program like Adobe, Firefox, or Quickbooks goes through a software update cycle, they will no longer launch. I get an error message that the device, path, or file cannot be found or the permissions
do not allow that operation or something to that effect. I have changed permissions, ran as administrator, even added a separate administrator account and installed from that account to no avail. I have used the self fixing tools in Windows 7 with no success.
If I reinstall the software, it usually works, however now I cannot get Quickbooks to launch even after reinstalling it. I tried

Hi,
I have a Dell laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium which is stuck on the shutting down screen after I pressed install and shut down computer.
I have left it plugged in so it doesn't run out of battery and shut down.
How do I fix this?

Windows Updates automatically installed

Hello,
In prior version of Windows, I had it setup to download Updates and Notify of Updates BUT NOT INSTALL THEM. This gave me the ability to control when they actually got installed. Very important to me for PC's that are running remotely. With Windows-10, it appears that I no longer have that ability. It appears that they get installed automatically as Microsoft releases them. Am I wrong? Can this behavior be changed?
