Error 8024A000 when installing Windows Updates.

I replace my notebook harddisk and tried to update the window but failed with error 8024A000. I have managed to update to Window Vista Business SP2 earlier. What should I do? All help options does not help me.

Error Code: 2000-0146 (Laptop hung on "Windows Updates installing screen")

Ok so I when ever I turn on my dell laptop ( I have windows vista) it acts like it is installing windows updates. It even says installing 3 of 3 even though the completion bar says 0%. It does that, acts like its about to restart then goes back to the installing
screen. I ran the diagnostic test and the error code 2000-0146 came up. Im not sure if that helps but if anyone has a solution please help! Thanks
Oh and I tried to restore option and it didn't do anything.

Windows could not search for new updates, errors: 80070005, 80072F8F

An erroe messages appears when trying to download windows updates. I tried to use Microsoft Fix It Center and it says that repairs need to be made, that it was fixed but the problem is not going away. Tried to submitt a support request at Microsoft but
it is not available (???). I have not been able to download windows updates since 8/03/2012

Installed windows 7 and cant get updates??

Ive just formatted my hd and reinstalled windows 7 ultimate 32bit onto it. This went on fine with no problems. however, when i went on the net i initially found that i couldnt download the adobe flash player as it comes up with "actionlist not found". Also when viewing websites it keeps saying "certificate error" meaning im having to click "show blocked content" on every site i visit! The smart screen filter says its temporarily unavailiable but has been for several days now and not chamnged. And finally, i went into the updates section, tried to search for new updates as i thought this may be the problem, and it come up with "Errors found Code 80072F8F"
Is there something within the install i have

Some updates could not be installed

I'm running Windows XP SP-3 and I have been unable to install update KB2481109. I searched the Microsoft site for the "some updates could not be installed" error message (which is the error message that I get) and was led to the Microsoft Fix-It app, which I ran. However, that did not "Fix-It".
Any ideas how else to fix this?

Good Morning. Got all the 1/10/12 Updates installed on my desktop computer but cannot get but one of the eight installed on my wife's laptop Windows XP. Any suggestions? Should I try installing just one at a time to see if one of them is causing the trouble? Any help would be appreciated.

This is the screen shot of my Disk managment
I have 4 primary partitions in my 320GB HDD
1. SYSTEM
2. HP_TOOLS
3. Windows_7 (C
4. Local disk (D
Now i want to install windowsXP in Local Disk(D which is primary partition, but When i boot from windowsXP CD at startup it wont load setup files ie; automatically windows 7 will startup, then when i run setup directly from windows 7, 'Install windowsXP' option has disabled... so help me...
Please explain the steps briefly...
