BSOD when rebooting after installing new anti-virus

Hi there, I've tried to install Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 and when rebooting, I got a blue screen (Cryptic I know) Next seeing as all other times i've installed this family of programs i've un-installed its predescessor and installed the new one so I did a quick system restore to yesterday and uninstalled, which when you do, you have to reboot, Also giving me problems. So I went through this loop of events quite a few times. Windows Explorer crashes randomly and has to restart

Hi everyone, Windows Explorer seems to crash randomly with me (it does not happen with every computer session but seems to happen when I want to open a window) and has to restart; then, after a few seconds, it crashes again and has to restart yet again (seems to happen when I try opening the window again after Explorer restarts) Have got the latest Windows updates and Service Pack 1. The issue started after installing the recommended Microsoft updates described over here: 6 new updates 4/26/11 After the updates had been successfully installed, I was asked to reboot my computer. After the reboot,when I wanted to open a window, Explorer crashed (30th April logs; see below). Since my computer is in German, the crash logs are also in German.

I cant register windows 8 pro after fitting new hard drive

I fitted a new hard drive, loaded the windows 8 professional (that was working fine on the old hard drive) but I now get the error message saying I cant upgrade with this version. I do have the disk with windows 7 that was originally on my laptop. Everything is working fine but keep getting the message to register windows, The help center says I should install windows 7 first then upgrade to win 8, but how do i do that as I now have win 9 installed. should I format the hard drive and start again?

why do the icons on the windows 8 desktop stop functioning after a while?

I know I have asked this question before but this gets really aggravating.  My tiles on my windows 8 desktop don't open after a while.  I have to constantly uninstall them and reinstall them then they work for a few days and then nothing, have to do it all over again.  I think someone said something about firewall conflicting with them.  I have ESET NOD32 which I love and will not get rid of this seems to be the best paid software and works the best on everything.  I don't want to use the windows defender which I'm told comes with windows 8.  How do I disable the defender one so I am only using my ESET.  Do you think this could be the problem or is it something else?  This is very stressful.

why do my apps on my windows 8 desktop not open after a while?

Not sure if I had asked this question before but why does my apps on my windows 8 desktop stop working after a while?  I use them great but then after a period of time I click on them and nothing comes up so I have to reinstall everything which is a pain in the you know what every time.  Don't want to keep having to do this, there has to be a reason.  All apps like mail, news, bing, weather, etc.  all apps that I have installed like that.  Any clues?  Why do they work for a period of time then stop?  Doesn't make any sense to me.  Thanks for any help.

windows won't boot after installing new theme

Hi sevenforum, This is my first post here, and i'm really hoping you can help this not-so-much computer noob out. So, after installing a windows 8 theme my computer won't boot anymore. It goes to the first loading screen wich lets me acces the BIOS, and then shuts off and reboots again. So my question is: can i select within the BIOS to not boot the theme in question or is there another way to boot my system just so i can remove it? any help is greatly appreciated!

Some desktop icons randomly move and change icon

I have 2 irrititating Desktop Icon problems as follows: 1). I like to have many icons on my desktop - currently 130 - and I know where they all are (plus I keep a regular screenshot to record them). Occasionally, random ones will move their position (and Yes, the 'Auto Arrange Icons' option is not ticked). (I expect things to become jumbled after a crash, which is why I keep a copy of the layout by way of a screenshot. But the changing places syndrome can happen randomly, although not frequently.) 2). Icons Gone after installing new iTunes

I just upgraded iTunes from 10.01 to 10.1.056 tonight 11-25-2010 and my desktop icons have all been distorted. When I r-click > Properties on them and try to restore them via Change Icon... I get a message saying the program was not found. However if I double click the program it launches and works just fine. I have made NO changes at all to the computer other than I just downloaded the latest iTunes and upgraded. Here is a picture of what they look like:
