How can I move my Recycle Bin back from my desktop to my folder tree in Windows Explorer?
location:

When attempting to empty my recycle bin in Windows XP Pro I've been receiving an error message:

Cannot remove folder Dc174: Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.
OK
This Dc folder number keeps increasing the more I try to comply with various instructions from different help sites around the net about what I believe to be a corrupt recycler folder. When I try to delete the $RECYCLER folder so that by instruction it should
be recreated or replaced upon next restart, the command prompt gets answered with: 'The system cannot find file specified'.
This also does not work for me in Safe Mode with command prompt or Saf

Hi, I am writing on behalf of my daughter, as at the moment she is recovering from chemo...I do hope you will be able to help.
She has windows 7, and when in Microsoft word 2010. it says unable to print as printer not installed. However, on print dialog within Word it shows the printer as ready with a green tick.
Printer is working ok as she can print out emails and things from the web.
Many thanks
Barbara

I can ping a XP machine from my 7 machine. XP machine cannot ping back
location:
7forums.com - date:
May 6, 2013
both are connected to the same router
the ip of the 7 machine is 192.168.1.102 and the default gateway is 192.168.1.1
the ip of the XP machine is 10.1.10.22 and the default gateway is 10.1.10.1
the 7 machine can ping both 10.1.10.22 and 10.1.10.1 and receive responses. I can even access the sharing on the xp machine by typing \\10.1.10.22 into my windows explorer, but the xp machine cannot ping or access \\192.168.1.102
this is really weird. I mean, for starters, it would appear that this router somehow has two ip addresses, secondly, I can ping AND get a response from one machine, but nothing from another.
I have no idea what's wrong
