Problems with Skype 5.1 after installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1
location:
microsoft.com - date:

Original title: Skype5.1/windows7 SP1 compatibility
I had no problems with Skype o Windows7 Ultimate. After installing SP1 for Windows7 Skype does not work anymore.
I tried uninstalling SP1-no dice. I tried to uninstall Skype(with REVO) and reinstall Skype-no dice. Skype5.1 works fine on my VISTA home premium and even setting the compatibility on my Windows7 to Vista SP1 does not solve the problem. Windows7 tells
me that Skype is incompatible. Any suggestions or answers?

I have no audio after installing Windows 7 service pack1
location:
microsoft.com - date:
July 9, 2011
After updating to Windows 7 service pack 1 I no longer have sound. My speakers are connected to the SPDIF out (COAX) on my motherboard not the Hi Def audio device that Windows detects. I haven't used my sound card for a long time since I use the better
COAX connection on my motherboard. I'm running a ASUS Crosshair motherboard with a Logitech 5.1 speaker system. I never had any problems before updating to Windows 7 service pack 1. I can do a system restore and get my COAX connection to play sound again but
my computer won't be up to date. What can I do to get my speakers working again?

How can I re-install Windows 7 after installing Windows 8
location:
7forums.com - date:
June 12, 2013
When Windows 8 came out it was around 30-something dollars. It was a good deal and I upgraded rather ignorantly. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I loved Windows 7.
I installed it and then burned it into a DVD. It gave me some options, I think only 2. Either keep files or custom install. I chose custom...
So is there a way to go back? I really don't know how, but I do have the CD my original computer came with for Windows 7, not sure how to go about it. Any detail help would be good.

Hi
I have installed windows 8 for about 2 day. Now I have both windows 7 & 8. After I have installed windows 8 each time I select windows 7 in the boot menu it takes too long to load windows 7. I did not have this issue before installing new windows. Notice that my windows 8 loads so fast and it's good.
Please help me to resolve this problem and windows 7 loads as fast as before.

We recently installed WSBS Std 2011. The server is a 64-bit operating system. My workstation is running Windows 7 Pro. It was bought as 64 bit OS but is now running as 32 bit as per the properties. I am an administrator on my computer as well as within
our network. I am currently the only Windows 7 user here, but some of my problems are network wide to all users and all problems began after installing SBS 2011.
1. When we installed Microsoft.NET to connect all workstations to the new server/SBS 2011, we were not allowed to update each user but rather forced to create "new user" on each work station. Everyone grumbled about losing their settings, but we were
able to restore their email an point them to their previous user settings (i.e.
