Pixelated Video after installing Windows 7 help!!!!
location:

I starting a new thread because many people have talked about this but I dont seem to find a solution.
I was running windows vista on this computer with no problems, video looked amazing in SD and HD, I decided to install Windows 7 RC and for some reason Video has very mall lines and squares that, even though you are watching HD, distort the image, more noticeable
on faces. This happens on every player, even on my slingplayer which is the one that I watch the most. I installed back vista, and everything perfect, but would like to keep windows 7. Im Windows 7 ultimate RC with NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with the latest drivers
from Nvidia.
Ive tried everything from messing around with control panel to installing codec pa

BSOD Problem after installing new RAM MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x0000001a

Original Title: BSOD Problem after installing new RAM
Hi,
A few days ago I replaced three 2GB memory sticks on my computer with three 4GB PNY memory sticks,
Shortly after, I started experience blue screens every 10 hours or so when I wasn't using it, or after playing a graphically intense game for over an hour.
I went into the Pre-boot assessment and ran the memory test and my computer passed. I ran the Alienware memory test and passed that as well.
Here is one of the BSODs

original title: Clean Windows 7 install...Why am I getting BSOD after installing windows updates? Please help
Hello, all. I built my first gaming PC last week. The build went well, but the following day, I got 2 or 3 random bsod's, usually on start up. Updated mobo bios hoping it would solve the problem. System was stable for a couple days, then started getting
bsod's again. One on start up, one after computer was idle. After another crash after booting up my PC this evening, I decided to do a clean install of Windows 7 (64 bit). Got all "up to date" drivers for all components, did not install any extra programs
other than Steam and Norton. Everything was running fine... until I started performing the numerous Windows Updates. Then, it

Cannot output 5.1 audio on HDMI after installing Windows 7
location:
microsoft.com - date:
April 13, 2010
Hi All,
I have
HP Pavilion dv7 1270us , which came with Windows Vista x64. I've managed to watch DVD Movies and Blu-ray discs through the HDMI-output, having multichannel audio as well (5.1)
I thought that it was time for a Windows upgrade. Last week I've purchased a copy of Windows 7 Professional, formatted my hard drive and installed my new Windows. After that I browsed HP's driver page to download my missing drivers.
Everything looks good now, except the fact that I cannot output multichannel audio to my amplifier now.
Firstly, I thought that this could be a codec issue, but it isn't. This is what I've found in my Sound settings - Windows says that my HDMI supports only 2 channels:
I saw that a lot of people are having this issu
