Cannot play game after Installing Windows 8 Consumer Preview

Hey guys, need help here. sorry if i post this in a wrong section I'm using ASUS A43S with NVidia GEFORCEGT 540m CUDA. I'm messing around by installing Windows 8 but then I accidentally click personal files only when installing. So I lost all my programs, its fine for me though, I can reinstall all of them but it seems now my graphic card is not detected as Nvidia but some kind of windows basic graphic card driver ? now I can't play FIFA12 but others just work out fine. I can't restore to factory state because apparently its gone (i dont know why, maybe accidentally deleted it). can anyone help me ? sorry if my language is poor and sketchy. have a nice day

Age of empires III, asked before i bought this game, was told by someone within Microsoft that age of empires III would run with windows 8, not so. Does anyone know of an update or fix??

hi I am new to windows 8. when I click on the game app and go into xbox store can I download games to pc and play them without an xbox. the 2 options for purchasing a game are buy game for xbox or play on xbox 360. if it is possible to download and play on pc which option do I click on to buy game, thanks.

Is there a space adventure game for windows 8 tablet like galaxy on fire 2? Looks like galaxy on fire doesn't support touch interface for windows 8. Asking around on their forum yields no result whatsoever. I'm not a heavy gamer. Just looking for something to pass the time on the train commuting back and forth to work.

All my games freeze and crash to desktop plz help

Problem Event Name: AppHangB1 Application Name: moh_spearhead.exe A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows. Well after looking on so many threads and forums i have still not found a solution to why my games seem to crash like after 10mins of play, even whats more strange i can be playing for over an hour sometimes and it will do the same again, its becoming very frustrating for me. I've read it could be either a hardware or software problem, all my drivers are up too date i think. I've done a memory diagnostic test did not find any errors. Another thread i was reading said it's Direct x related. Had this problem with ati cards before, thinking of switching back to nvida because of personnel experiences,

blury text inside in-game Origin+steam app and also in everything I am getting blurry vision in in-game Origin app and Steam app on WIn 7 64-bit why blurry ?? please help _sorry for noob language but i have no option i also update my AMD HD 7950 drivers to WHQL and beta too but still blurry everything whenever directx game is running sometimes inside real games text and textures also gets blury I am even not OC my card i am facing such problem since 2 weeks ( even fraps fps counter also looks blurry and i am so sad__ unable to find solution ) is my GPU's hardware fault ??

For Windows 8 Release Preview, Oblivion game of the year seems to to work just fine, but there is one problem, how can I fix the text in books and scrolls from scrambling? I click on a book or scroll to read it, and the text is displayed perfectly for about 5 secs and the it becomes scrambled and illegible to read. I have Toshiba laptop with a Core2duo T6400 processor, with for 4gigs of ram and an ATI Radeon HD 3650 graphics card.

Hi everyone. Anybody here ever play the original version of FlatOut? I just finished the career mode, and I have to say, that was a very fun game. It had a unique feel compared to some of the other racers that I've played, probably because it encourages you to be destructive. I also thought it had a nice balance as far as the skill level required to master it -- it was a challenge, but at least it was attainable. Even the graphics weren't bad. I also have the sequel and Ultimate Carnage as well, but I'm still working on those.

Windows 8 and Metro video driver issues.

I am a longtime computer user. I like the Metro UI simple colors simple graphics reducing resource use. I have two Toshiba laptops an A135 and an NB500. The video driver keeps crashing and recovering on the A135 and there is no driver for the 1024x600 resolution to run Metro on the NB500. Can you address these issues in the update?
