Keyboard not working after installing windows 8

I just installed windows 8 last night...the top numbers row on my keyboard doesn't work. I wouldn't bother too much with it, because there's always Numpad...but I do like my symbols...anyway anyone else have this problem that could help me fix it?

downloading windows 8 media center keeps failing

Program down loads to 95 percent, than reverts back informing it failed, I have had 3 Microsoft Tec helpers that were unable to solve the problem, I have spent many hrs. on the phone trying to solve the problem, as well as my time trying resolve the problem myself, I tried many system check which corrected some problems, but not the installation problem, I'm at a point not knowing if Microsoft will call with help.

Switching back to Windows 7 after trying Windows 8 on an ASUS EEEPC 1015PE

I tried putting Windows 8 on an ASUS EEE PC 1015PE netbook, and I must say it works well. The only problem is that I have a version of video editing software that does not work well under Windows 8 and I must switch back to Windows 7, where it worked fine. The problem with that is that I was never given a copy of Windows 7 with my purchase a bit over a year ago. I do see a sticker at the bottom of my netbook showing that the machine has an official copy of Windows 7 on it, but that's it. Also, I don't know how I would reinstall Windows 7. From a USB key? As the machine has no CD-ROM player. Any help with this would be appreciated.he u

New Local Disk created after installing windows 8

Before installing windows 8 there was 4 hard disk partitions on my computer, but after installing windows 8 Local Disk (I:) came up automatically with 99 MB of size thought there's no file inside of that partition. Can please anyone tell me how that happened and how to hide/remove that partition, because its annoying.

Keyboard/typing messed up on laptop after installing Windows 8

I purchased and downloaded windows 8 on my Dell laptop that had been running Windows 7 Home premium. Now, my typing gets all messed up while typing in my email in Yahoo Mail ,and, I have just found out, in this box.It jumps around, puts characters I am typing back in other words, goes to the next line,possibly has to do with where my arrow is, but it is all messed up. Any suggestions on what to do next?This is unusable, very aggravating.
