The screen brightness control doesn't work at all after installing windows 8. Any suggestions?

How can I re-install Windows 7 after installing Windows 8

When Windows 8 came out it was around 30-something dollars. It was a good deal and I upgraded rather ignorantly. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I loved Windows 7. I installed it and then burned it into a DVD. It gave me some options, I think only 2. Either keep files or custom install. I chose custom... So is there a way to go back? I really don't know how, but I do have the CD my original computer came with for Windows 7, not sure how to go about it. Any detail help would be good. Too slow windows 7 loading after installing windows 8

Hi I have installed windows 8 for about 2 day. Now I have both windows 7 & 8. After I have installed windows 8 each time I select windows 7 in the boot menu it takes too long to load windows 7. I did not have this issue before installing new windows. Notice that my windows 8 loads so fast and it's good. Please help me to resolve this problem and windows 7 loads as fast as before. Windows 7 Crashes at Boot Manager after Deleting Windows 8 Dual Boot

Hi all, I followed some instructions to remove the Windows 8 Dual Boot by just deleting the Windows 8 Partition and that there was no need to edit the boot menu as everything will be done automatically after restart. Now, when I tried to reboot my computer, the computer hangs at the screen where you are suppose to select to boot up Windows 7 or Windows 8. As I had deleted Windows 8 Already, it should not prompt me to select to boot Windows 8 but rather directly boot into Windows 7. How should I proceed from here ? I am currently installing Fedora Dual Boot on my laptop so hopefully I am able to do some salvaging from there.... Thanks in advance ! Warmest Regards, Zeke

Original title; After upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 8, I got a black screen while booting the system   I have sony vaio VPC- F13S8E/B laptop. I have just upgraded my system windows 8. the installaiton was fine but after restart process the screen goes black and nothing happens. They say that the problem happens due to bios. help...
