I tried to update my Atheros Wireless Adapter's driver, but when I run the installer, it gives me a BSoD. I downloaded the driver from atheros.cz, so there should be no problem. Need help disabling Automatic Driver Installation in Win8

Okay, so here is an issue I have never ran into before with any Windows Operating system, including Windows 7. I am doing some testing on my computer, and I'm trying to do a *CLEAN* install of my video drivers. I uninstall all of the relevant drivers from Programs and Features. After that, I restart my computer. Upon restart, Windows decides it wants to automatically install the default drivers that it comes with. Fair enough. I go to Device Manager and uninstall the drivers manually, stating that I want to delete those drivers as well. Restart. Windows, again, decides it wants to install the default drivers. Okay. Accidently Deleted My shortcut to install Windows 8

Ok heres the problem: i downloaded the preview version of Windows 8. But then i dont wanna install it and picked: Install Later after download. The Program made a shortcut so i can install Windows 8 later. But then i accidently deleted the shortcut. How to get it back? (And its not in the Recycle Bin either). I have the files in my directory C:/WindowsESD/ but there is no install file just the install.wim and boot files and other things. And i dont wanna download windows 8 preview again. Takes long time! Have anyone still the shortcut. Just upload it i know how to use it.

BSOD due to bluetooth or wifi driver/hardware

1st of all sorry if i m posting the thread in wrong section of the seven forums, my problem is that i recently installed serial port driver for HP 4520s blutooth, at the same time i installed virtual router for my wifi to make laptop a hotspot, aftr some while my laptop showed a blue screen and shutted down.. i have no idea abt that, i disable bluetooth driver from device n hardware but laptop again shutted down after 10 to 15mins ... i have taken a photo of that blue screen and i m attaching it with this thread, if anyone can help .. i will b thankful to him/her.. Intel pro 5100 agn wifi driver problem with windows 8

I am having this problem since a past few days and have searched the web but couldn't find the solution. I have a Sony Vaio E Series VPCEH28FN laptop. It has got Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter. I recently installed Windows 8 Enterprise edition on my laptop. Initially my wifi worked perfectly without a hitch.
